Chicago weather in August averages around 80°F (27°C), with an historical range of 69°F (21°C) to 91° F (33°C). But, as they say, if you don’t like the weather in Chicago – wait a minute! Always be prepared for cool or windy conditions, and have an umbrella handy, especially for the River Cruise.
