UBC and UBC Properties Trust

UBC, the University of British Columbia, is the province’s largest institution of higher education. In addition to the main Vancouver campus, at Point Grey, the university operates satellite campuses and programs in downtown Vancouver (Robson Square and Great Northern Way), in Kelowna in the Okanagan Valley, and in Hong Kong.

UBC Properties Trust, the host institution for AUREO 2007, is a market-oriented private company which is wholly owned by the University of British Columbia. It was established in 1988 with the mission to acquire, develop and manage real assets for the benefit of the University. Since that time, the mandate of the Trust has expanded to include the acquisition, development and management of some of UBC's real estate assets.
